When a brand contacts me for the first time, almost the same question always comes up: “What does a Reel cost with you?” And honestly – I understand why it's so hard to answer. Online you'll find prices between €50 and €5,000 for what looks like the same format. So let me break down what's really behind the numbers when you book a fashion videographer for your brand.
The German market is wide: a single social media video costs between €300 and €3,000 depending on the concept, and the day rate of a professional videographer typically sits between €800 and €1,500. All of those ranges are correct – they just describe different things. A quickly filmed clip is something else than a cinematic film with concept, lighting and a considered edit.
So the price doesn't depend on the word “Reel”, it depends on what you're actually booking. That's exactly why I quote per project instead of a flat rate.
So you have an honest orientation – these are my benchmarks. One thing up front, because it explains almost everything: I shoot fashion on people. Clothing on a hanger doesn't sell. That's why every content package includes a model with make-up and styling – and that's why I don't start at €250.
If your brand provides model and styling itself, the price drops by €690 for a half and €990 for a full shoot day. Studio rental is only added for studio shoots, €300 to €600 per shoot day depending on city and duration, passed on at cost. All prices net, plus 19% German VAT – the full breakdown with every add-on is on the pricing page.
For most small brands the content package is the strongest lever: one shoot day gives you four weeks of content – one strong film plus plenty of short cuts for daily posting. Which formats are worth it is covered in 5 Reel concepts for small fashion brands.
I shoot fashion exclusively. That means: I know how a coat has to fall in the wind so the cut carries the silhouette. I know which focal length lengthens a look and which one widens it. And I know the difference between a Reel built for conversion and one built for brand image.
Exactly that experience goes into projects like cinematic fashion productions, fashion campaigns for brands and clips for hospitality and lifestyle brands like L'Osteria. An all-rounder shooting a wedding today, real estate tomorrow and fashion the day after doesn't have that eye – and you see it in the result, usually within the first three seconds, where it's decided whether someone scrolls or stays.
When I put together a quote, I build it from several blocks – that's fairly standard across the industry:
Every person on set, every hour of editing and every licence moves the price – which is why a conversation about your actual needs matters more than any flat rate.
A few items tend to slip through until the invoice arrives:
Instagram is honestly still the best filter. Don't just look at the showreel, look at the last ten posts – does this person really shoot fashion, or just “sometimes”? Then ask for references from brands of a similar size to yours. Someone who only works with Zalando and About You has different processes than someone who scales with small, growing brands.
I work across Germany for fashion brands, designers and agencies, and I travel internationally for projects. My focus: Reels, commercials and fashion content for young fashion brands – often between 500 and 15,000 followers. Which means I know your reality: small budgets, high standards, fast turnarounds. I'll tell you transparently what has to be in and what we can leave out without the quality suffering.
I don't sell Reels individually – half a shoot day is enough for three clips anyway, and that's considerably cheaper per Reel. The entry point is Content Package S from €1,390 net: three Reels up to 20 seconds, two looks and one model including make-up and styling. That works out at roughly €460 per Reel.
The package, by a clear margin. Content Package S costs from €1,390 for three Reels, Content Package M from €2,190 for five Reels out of a full shoot day – around €440 per clip. The work before and after the shoot only happens once, so every additional clip gets cheaper.
With me, yes, within the agreed scope. What matters is clarifying it up front: organic social rights are cheaper than permanent paid-ad use, and the number of revision rounds should be in the quote.
Yes. I work for fashion brands, designers and agencies all across Germany, and I travel internationally for projects.
